WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BUILD GREEN?

there is a lot of buzz (and confusion!) around this term. For us it means:

• creating a dwelling that has healthier air

• Following the steps for Green Built Certification, no cheap shortcuts

• reduction of construction impact on the environment

• PLANTING A MINIMUM OF 250 TREES FOR EVERY HOME WE BUILD

We use a third party company to perform the following tests to certify our process :

• Blower Door Test

• HVAC Duct Test

• Energy model for energy star certification

• Bath and Exhaust fan tests

• INSULATION INSPECTION

As a company we do our best during the building process to:

• Eliminate waste

• Look for areas to help reduce power/building costs

• Use local vendors

• Recycle cardboard/building materials

• use led lighting and other Green technology

We also listen to our customers. Each customer has specific goals that we help achieve.
